About Cascade Trust

Cascade Trust is an organization primarily responsible for managing the copyrights and income from the works of Fethullah Gülen.

Founded on June 6, 2022, Cascade Trust entered into an irrevocable agreement on March 4, 2024 whereby Fethullah Gülen himself transferred and assigned all of his copyrights to Cascade Trust. This agreement permanently transferred the copyright of all written, audio, and visual works of Fethullah Gülen to the Cascade Trust.

Management

Cascade Trust was established in accordance with the legal regulations of the State of New Jersey in the United States of America and is overseen by a board of five trustees. The board consists of:

• Mehmet Yavuzlar
• İsmet Aksoy
• Adem Kalaç
• Nevzat Yılmaz
• Nasuhi Yurt

However, Adem Kalaç’s membership was terminated by a joint decision of the committee on February 12, 2025 following his repeated requests for resignation. The process of electing a new trustee is currently underway.

Distribution of Royalties

The transfer and assignment agreement between Fethullah Gülen and Cascade Trust stipulated that he would continue to be paid the amounts he had previously received from the publishing company during his lifetime. After his passing, the Board of Trustees will oversee the distribution of royalties according to the principles and guidelines outlined in the agreement.
